Bats
are a peculiar animal. They are the only known mammals which can fly. Their
hands and arms serve as wings, enabling them to fly for long distances mainly in
the dark. Bats communicate with each other by a method known as echolocation.
Because they fly chiefly at night, they have often been wrongly thought of as
evil creatures.

are nice creatures, just like most animals. And though they have been
represented in art largely as vampires and blood suckers, most bats feed on
