The beaver is a semi aquatic animal that is well known for
building dams. Beavers are large rodents and some adults can weight up to 16 kg.
There have been reports of some beavers weighing as much as 40 kg. Beavers are
unique animals that have been extensively studied and captured in art. They are
very social animals and build houses called beaver’s lodges.
