An
in-depth look at demotivational posters - Ambition

Ambition
is the desire to achieve a certain goal. It is the one factor that drives
innovation and new ideas. The Ambition demotivational poster is not only filled
with so much sarcasm but a bit of sorrow.
Salmons
travel hundreds or even thousands of miles to spawn. Spawning can be described
as a life long ambition of all salmons. Unfortunately brown bears, which love
fish, are very much in tune with the spawning season and wait by the river side
to grab as much salmon as they can. The salmon spawning season is one of the few
periods when the brown bear actually has much more food to eat than it can
consume.
The
demotivational poster rephrases the popular "The Journey of a Thousand
Miles Begins With A Single Step" to "The Journey of a Thousand Miles
Sometimes Ends Very, Very Badly". The picture says it all. Sometimes our
dreams and aspirations are not achieved simply because of some unknown
limitations. We may put in so much effort, have the right intention and yes,
even good will but things would just end up badly.
Sarcasm
and satire some may say but like all demotivational posters, the poster above
presents some stark and biting truths which no one would ever like to face. Yet,
it also manages to do one other thing while presenting its gloomy message. It
manages to put a smile on your face.
