An
in-depth look at demotivational posters - Demotivation

Bad
work days are not uncommon. With ever increasing productivity requirements from
top management, a growing number of people feel they just cannot cope with the
stress and pressure of the workplace.
The
Demotivation demotivational poster presents a sarcastic alternative to dealing
with unhappy or rather unproductive people in the workplace: "Sometimes the
best solution to morale problems is just to fire all the unhappy people".
Funny indeed, but how do you define an unhappy person? Someone who simply isn't
productive, or someone who spends the bulk of time nagging and complaining in
the office?
Growing
worker stress is indeed a problem. These days, much more is required from
employees, thanks in large part to the recent wave of technological advancement
within the last two decades or so that has seen the desktop computer convert
each employee into a multipurpose commodity.
Demotivation
is a serious workplace problem, which needs to be dealt with. In a previous
article on tackling demotivation in the workplace,
an in-depth look was given to the effect of demotivation on worker productivity,
and how to deal with this problem. Demotivation was described not as a illness
that needs to be cured but as a response to certain conditions in the workplace
that need to be changed.
With
this in mind, dealing with demotivation could become much easier, with the
office becoming a place where employee productivity is not only increased, but
employee health and well-being are also improved for the greater good of all.
