Humiliation
is something no person ever wants to face. Imagine what it means to be disgraced
or be reduced to a lower position in the eyes of others. That's why most, if not
all people avoid humiliation at all cost. We all try to maintain our dignity and
pride in whom we are, and always want others to see us this way. Humiliation
represents the exact opposite of what it means to be dignified.
But,
isn't a bit of humiliation sometimes necessary? Well, not the kind of
humiliation in which we are shamefully disgraced in front of people but, the
humiliation which humbles us and lets us look inwards toward ourselves and
discover who we really are. Imagine having to go through the pain and
humiliation of a failed business venture. Or what it means to have just failed
an exam for the second time.
Humiliation
does indeed come in different forms, and though you may look dumber with each
new attempt, without such effort, you simply cannot succeed. The Humiliation
demotivational poster defines humiliation from a sarcastic and satirical point
of view. Yet, it does contain bitter truths which nonetheless, should not
prevent us from trying each time we fail.
