poster series, the Limitations poster strikes a special chord: "Until
you spread your wings, you'll have no idea how far you can walk."
This
poster is not only so humorous and sarcastic, but it is also so true. We may
dream about what we hope to become, brag about things we hope to achieve but
until we take the first step, we never really get to comprehend what we are
talking about.
And,
what better picture to use than a penguin, stretching out its wings in an
attempt to fly. Of course, penguins cannot fly and no matter how wide a penguin
chooses to spread out its wings, it will never fly. But, it will learn how to
walk for a very very very long distance without ever leaving the ground.
That's
the point the Limitations demotivational poster tries to make. We all have our
desired goals and aspirations. But, the moment we realize that such goals are
bordered by limitations, we will very well stand aware of what we can and cannot
achieve. This helps us set our priorities right.
