Frida
Kahlo - interesting Mexican art prints from this painter

Frida
Kahlo is undoubtedly the most renowned Mexican painter. Said to have been born
in July 1907 (or July 1910 as she often stated herself), she left
to the world beautiful paintings, most of which can today be obtained as art
prints. When just six years old, she was affected by polio that left her right
leg in a bad condition. Frida Kahlo’s husband, Diego Rivera was a Mexican
muralist whom she first met while in high school. Beautiful art prints of
paintings by Diego Rivera are also available.
At
the age of eighteen, Frida Kahlo was involved in a bus accident while traveling
in a Mexican city. This left her
health in a very bad shape. While recovering and convalescing, she took up
painting, which was to become her life-long profession, and serving as the
starting point for the beautiful art prints of hers which are widely admired
today. Married in 1929, Frida Kahlo passed away in 1954.
Today,
Frida Kahlo is one of the most celebrated artists in the world. Her name has
become synonymous with Mexican art and paintings, and art prints of hers are
available for those who desire. We present a sample of art prints from this most
