Rolls
Royce is renowned for the luxury cars it manufactures. It traces its origin to
1906 when the Charles Stewart Rolls, owner of a car sales company in London
agreed to go into partnership with Frederick Henry Royce, an engineer. The
company's first car known as Silver Ghost was first seen at the Paris Motor Show
of 1906. Since then Rolls Royce has become well known for its high quality cars.
In addition to cars, Rolls Royce also manufactures jet engines for airplanes.
